Who we are? Welcome to the world of SALTO

The research, design, development and manufacture of electronic access control products by SALTO Systems is only possible thanks to the creativity and passion of its people.

We're driven by innovation, and guided by our insights into customer needs. We deliver industry-leading, next-generation electronic locking solutions without wires and without mechanical keys. Since 2001, SALTO has been redefining the access control world by continually being first to anticipate market needs in a rapidly evolving marketplace. We set new standards in security, manageability and scalability.

SALTO hardware and software can be networked without wires to provide real-time intelligence and instant control, whilst enabling integration with existing systems to improve manageability and enhance end-user experience.

Inspiration, dedication and passion have led SALTO to become one of the world's top five manufacturers of electronic access control systems in little more than 10 years.

At SALTO Systems we believe it’s our responsibility to play a leading role in the social development of our local environment around our many offices throughout the world. To do this we focus on social programs and sport, working with those who share our passion to help others and to create cities and buildings that are adapted and accessible for all to use.

Our focus. Promote handicapped sport as a means of overcoming adapted and social integration.

Promote mutual assistance among physically disabled and non-disabled persons. For example through the platform build an online SALTO Guide, a sort of ‘Michelin Guide’ to share with others, sport centres and places that are 100% fully disabled accessible for sports.
Act as a focal point to share information on and resolve how to adopt and implement the relevant measures and actions needed to ensure the physically disabled are fully integrated into everyday life.
Collaborate with all relevant agencies, organizations and associations, building a movement that is open to everyone.
Assist or participate in committees and work with local departments to remove barriers and promote accessibility, education, work and health.
Be a meeting point for those who want to share their interests and concerns with others.
Promote the social inclusion of the disabled in all normal, everyday activities and break down barriers.

Accessibility. Eliminate barriers

People with disabilities face barriers that most of do not even see. Every day at work, at study, at play they can face the frustration of not knowing if the place they want to visit is accessible and adapted to their needs be it an office, factory, library, cinema, theatre, exhibition, sports hall or some place else. A set of steps or stairs, a missing ramp, a narrow door or a non-adapted bathroom can all be major hurdles to a person with a disability or restricted mobility. This can result in such a person being unable to enjoy the same facilities and opportunities as a more able-bodied person can.

The good news is that things are getting better and improving all the time. Society is starting to think more about the needs of use and access for both the able-bodied and those who may have special needs including the elderly and disabled and this is where comes in.

Adapted Sports. We see ability in disability

Adapted sports are a way for children and adults with disabilities to be able to get off the sidelines and participate in sports. Through adaptive sports, many children are able to overcome their physical and cognitive disabilities to achieve a lifelong dream. Adaptive sports give children a sense of accomplishment, a feeling of belonging, and build confidence in themselves.

SALTO Systems through its social initiative seeks to recognize and promote an individual’s potential and strength, defying the assumption that people with a physical disability can’t lead a life of excellence. We provide inspiration, opportunities and support porojects so that physically disabled people can be active participants in any kind of sports.
